This is the best place to be if you are looking for peace and quiet, although it’s not so quiet as to be boring. Margie’s RV Park is located in a secluded area right off Highway 97 in Riverside. Riverbend RV Park is located in the city of Twisp, Washington. It’s about an hour away from Riverside, but the hour’s drive is worth it with all of the amenities and things you can find to do at this campground. Rates start at $27 for tents and $45 for a truck camper.

Being on over 9,000 acres of land means that this state park has a number of options when it comes to how to spend the day. There is something for everyone here. Explore the 55 miles of hiking trails you’ll find, or take a boat out on the lake and go fly-fishing. If you’re more of the adventurous type, you can go rock climbing or water skiing. Additionally, you can explore the area by taking your horse out for a trot.
How to Get to
Riverside State Park
You will find the park by accessing Interstate 90 and taking exit 280, Maple Street Bridge. Go down about a mile on Maxwell Street where you will turn left. Continue on down Maxwell as it goes west, and then go north on Petit Drive. Keep driving down Petit Drive until you see a golf club. From here, continue on straight into Riverside State Park.
Entering Riverside State Park
The state park is open from 6:30 a.m. until dusk during the summer. During the winter season, the hours are from 8:00 a.m. until dusk.
If you are planning on camping at Riverside State Park, you will not have to purchase a day pass. For everyone else visiting the park, there is a small charge to enter the grounds.
