The Belfair State Park is located on the Hood Canal between Shelton and Bremerton and a quick five-minute drive from downtown Belfair. The state park is filled with wetlands, salmon runs, pebble beaches, and tidal flats. Travelers can enjoy the Cascadia Marine Trail and Puget Sound waterways and explore other adventures at this state park. When visiting, you'll have a chance to enjoy the mild temperatures throughout most of the year. However, the winters can be about 17 to 29 degrees cooler.

Belfair State Park Campground
Belfair State Park offers three camping loops. The main loop and beach loop camping areas can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet long, and they have full-hookup accessibility. The tree loop campground area, on the other hand, can only accommodate RVs up to 18 feet with no hookups available. Between all loops, there are 90 standard campsites, 41 full-hookup sites, two primitive sites, and one marine trail site.

Tahuya Adventure Resort
Tahuya Adventure Resort offers RV, tent, and cabin camping sites that are surrounded by mature trees, giving you a secluded oasis. The campground accommodates all RV sizes. You will have plenty of trails and wildlife to explore, and with some luck, you may find the hidden pond. The resort is nestled deep in the Tahuya State Forest, making it ideal for horseback riding, hiking, and biking. All sites are fairly close to the kitchen and group areas.

Camp Spillman
Camp Spillman has sites large enough for a toy hauler or trailer. If you like riding your quad, dirt bike, or other off-road vehicles, you'll love coming here to ride the off-beaten path trails. All sites are free with a discover pass and are first-come, first-served. There are some hidden rivers where you can go fishing, swim, and see plenty of nature and wildlife. The campsites include a picnic table and a fire pit.

Inside Belfair State Park
There are picnic tables where you can have a family picnic. Other things to do inside the state park are bird-watching and crabbing as well as swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. How to Get to
Belfair State Park
From downtown Belfair, head northwest on WA-300 West for about three miles. Then, turn left into the state park.
From Shelton, head north on North 2nd Street to West Pine Street and turn right. Follow it for 1.7 miles and continue onto WA-3 North. Take WA-3 North for 21.8 miles and then turn left after Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. Turn left onto WA-300 West. Follow signs to the state park.
From Bremerton, take WA-3 to Northeast Old Clifton Road in Belfair and then head west on Seattle Bremerton Ferry Dock toward Burwell Street. Follow Burwell Street for about one mile before turning left onto North Callow Avenue, which turns slightly right and becomes WA-304 West Charleston Boulevard. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for WA-3 South Shelton and merge onto WA-3 South. Follow WA-300 to the state park.
