Water Activities – Sand Hollow State Park is home to a 1,322-acre warm water reservoir, making it the perfect spot for a wide variety of water sports and activities. Visitors can enjoy swimming, water skiing, boating and more. Fishing is another popular activity inside the state park – there are catfish, crappie and bass abundant in the water, and you can fish from a boat or the shore.
ATV and OHV Riding – Sand Hollow is one of Utah’s most popular spots for riding ATVs and OHVs. Not only is the scenery stunning, thanks to the unique red sand, the park offers 15,000 acres of sand dunes at Sand Mountain with open riding, plus technical trails. ATV rental is also available, but reservations are recommended.
How to Get to
Sand Hollow State Park
Sand Hollow is located on South Sand Hollow Road in Hurricane, Utah. To get there, exit I-15 at Exit 16 (Highway 9), travel east for four miles, turn on Sand Hollow Road, then travel south for three miles until you reach the park entrance.
