Both the Lower Camp and the Upper Camp are located near the water, so swimming and fishing are only a few steps away. Some sites offer electric hookups, and RVs are welcome; book as early as possible to get a larger site. The camping season here runs from the beginning of April to October at the Upper Camp or December at the Lower Camp. Sites start at $30 per night.
Quiet Oaks Campground
For full hookups, head to the lovely Quiet Oaks Campground. It's located about 12 miles northeast of Kettle Creek State Park, so you can make the drive quickly. Spread out over 100 acres, this campground offers 15/30/50 amp electric service and water hookups at most RV sites, plus a variety of spots with water, electricity, and sewer. With its well-maintained roads, getting in and out is a breeze. A small bathhouse offers hot showers, and there's a cafe on the grounds for light meals. Close to your site, you can watch wildlife or indulge in a bit of fishing, ATV riding, and hiking. Sites with full hookups range from $25-45 per night, and primitive sites cost $17 per night. Ask about discounts for longer stays.
Ole Bull State Park Campground
If the Kettle Creek State Park campground is full, head to the Ole Bull State Park Campground for a similar experience.
