The lake freezes over during the winter, making it ideal for ice fishing and ice skating. Starting at US-6 East in Andover, head southeast on US-6 and then turn left onto OH-7 South, also known as South Main Street. You take a left onto Gibbs Road, and after 1.5 miles, you'll come to Pymatuning Lake Road. Make a right and follow Pymatuning Lake Road to the state park.
