Pymatuning State Park covers a big area but is split with 3,512 acres in Ashtabula County, Ohio, and 21,122 acres in Pennsylvania. The park lies within 3.5 miles southeast of Andover, Ohio, and just 19 miles south of Jefferson. Pymatuning Reservoir is the largest lake in Pennsylvania; you can catch largemouth bass, channel catfish, carp, and smallmouth bass there. The lake freezes over during the winter, making it ideal for ice fishing and ice skating. Besides a chance to spend time enjoying the natural beauty of the water, there are a number of park attractions to keep the whole family wanting more. Wildlife can be seen throughout the state park as you walk through its habitat.

The Ohio Pymatuning State Park Swimming Beach is just south of the 85/285 causeway. You'll find showers, vending machines, a bathhouse, and a volleyball court at the beach. Pymatuning State Park
Starting at US-6 East in Andover, head southeast on US-6 and then turn left onto OH-7 South, also known as South Main Street. You take a left onto Gibbs Road, and after 1.5 miles, you'll come to Pymatuning Lake Road. Make a right and follow Pymatuning Lake Road to the state park.
