East Fork State Park RV & Campground Guide

Ohio

East Fork State Park

is characterized by a landscape shaped by the Illinoisan and Wisconsinan glaciers. In 1978, the East Fork Reservoir was formed as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood control program, which created the largest recreational area in Ohio. The 4,870-acre park features a diverse range of recreational opportunities. The East Fork region displays gorgeous country and hillside scenery and is noted for its remnant prairie habitats and plants like big bluestem grass and purple coneflower, among others. Animals that roam this area include song sparrows, raccoons, fence lizards, red foxes, and deer. Major cities nearby are Cincinnati, Bethel, and Amelia, Ohio.
