For a more relaxing outing, make your way over to the area’s sandy beach for a tan. In the Green River Lake campground, there are 167 water and electric RV sites and 60 primitive tent sites.
How to Get to
Green River Lake State Park
Green River Lake State Park is located in Taylor County, Kentucky, at 179 Park Office Rd in Campbellsville. The state park is to the northwest of Daniel Boone National Forest and to the southeast of Louisville. If you are heading from the north, the most efficient route is to take I-68 south until you reach the exit for Campbellsville. Coming from the opposite direction, you will want to take I-55 north until you reach that exit. Coming from the west, your best bet is to take I-55 to the northeast and then merge onto I-68 going south until you get to the exit. Lastly, for those traveling from the east, take I-55 to the west until you can merge onto I-68 heading south.
