Pikes Peak State Park near McGregor, Iowa, offers some of the most amazing natural landmarks in the Hawkeye State. Inside Pikes Peak State Park
Visitors can experience the Mississippi River's stunning views from many vantage points and bluffs inside Pikes Peak State Park. Over 11 miles of trails meander through the area. You may want to consider hiking to Bridal Veil Falls or Point Ann, where the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers converge. Other activities such as boating, fishing, geocaching, biking, and fossil hunting are popular among guests.
How to Get to
Pikes Peak State Park
From the south, take Hwy 52 North then go right onto East Van Buren Street. Continue to Clayton Road, then go north on County Road X-56/Great River Road. Travel several miles and take a right onto Pikes Peak Road. The park entrance is on the left.
From the north, follow Hwy 18 to 1st Street/River Street in Marquette, then travel south, which becomes Main Street in McGregor. Continue south to the end and take County Road X-56 south. Travel about three miles to the entrance to the park.

Pikes Peak State Park is open year-round, with most activities and visitor center operational from May through October. Hours are from 4:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. daily.
