Magnolia Springs State Park RV & Campground Guide

Georgia

Magnolia Springs State Park

is spread out over 1,000 acres between the Georgia towns of Perkins and Millen. It's built around a natural spring that flows with roughly 7 million gallons of crystal-clear water every day. While the park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and opened in 1939, the area was home to a prison during the Civil War. Today, the park still houses remnants of Camp Lawton, which housed over 10,000 prisoners. The most popular activities at Magnolia Springs are water sports along with hiking and biking the on-site trails.
