Named after a small stream that cuts through the area, Hard Labor Creek State Park spans 5,804 acres across Morgan and Walton counties in Georgia. The park is located about an hour east of Atlanta, between Bostwick and Rutledge. While it's primarily known for having one of the best golf courses in Georgia, Hard Labor Creek State Park is also a perfect destination for fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking, boating, birding, and camping enthusiasts. Camp Rutledge
Centered on the 275-acre Lake Rutledge, Camp Rutledge is one of the largest designated group camp areas at Hard Labor Creek State Park, and it's ideal for RV camping. The campsite is RV friendly and has a camp store where you can shop for snacks and other essentials, along with any other necessities you may need. Hard Labor Creek Campground
Hard Labor Creek Campground is home to 51 campsites, including the designated Rutledge Camp Group and the Daniel Morgan Group Camp. All of these sites are suitable for RVs under 45 feet in length. Apart from the amenities offered by the park, the tall trees also provide coverage and privacy for you and your family. All are equipped with electricity hookups of between 30 and 50 amps to ensure you keep your devices charged and remain entertained throughout your stay. On top of the electric hookups, each of these camping sites offers necessities like picnic tables and fire rings. The location is also pet friendly. Water and sewer hookups, pull-through and back-in sites, restrooms, and showers are also available in 11 out 51 campsites, which are designated as premium sites.
