Perfectly clear water flows from a natural spring into the swimming hole at Wekiwa Springs State Park. This is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Florida’s Orange County, and visitors have been coming to paddle and splash in the brilliant water for decades. The water is 72 degrees at all times. Add in central Florida’s spectacularly warm climate, and you have the perfect getaway for any month of the year. With its 25-mile trail network and lush natural environment, you’d never guess that Orlando is just 17 miles south and Apopka is seven miles west.
