Welcome to the "Goober Van". While the name is corny, this van is sweet! Newly completed in the spring of 2023, this custom conversion has every thing you need for a great trip.

I'm a child psychologist who recently purchased and converted my van. I'm planning on doing extensive traveling in my retirement with this van, but as I'm a number of years away from that, I'm renting the van so others can share in the joy of camper van life.

Rental Rules

- Dog permitted at additional cost of $25/night. Maximum weight of 40 lbs.
- Renter can park their vehicle in our driveway for the duration of the rental without charge.
- Personal clean up is expected. This includes sweeping/vacuuming out of van, emptying and cleaning of cassette toilet (can be dumped in regular toilet), and emptying trash.

As a first timer, this was a wonderful experience, good communication with the owner (a couple of pointers helped us newbies out immensely), the Goober is a reliable, user friendly and highly functional van.

Perfect from start to finish. Very easy to communicate with Tracey. Comfortable ride. Glad we brought along a step stool for getting in and out of van. Would definitely rent again!
The whole process from initial contact, pickup, and drop off was great. The van was very clean and well stocked with essential items. We’ve rented vans before and Goober had the best setup of storage and use of space.

Overall very positive experience. A few things to consider: We, as short people would have been more comfortable if you could adjust seat up and down. Also, we consistently heard rattling while driving and were unable to identify noise.
