Worn out RV. All of the galley shelves, sinks, and cabinets were broken or loose and discovered after we had taken responsibility of the RV. The front vent hatch handle was broken and has been that way for some time as the break is dirty. The stove top had several old attempts to secure it with packing tape and items stuck under it to keep it from rattling.
Unfortunately, the renter did not take care of the RV. He blew out two brand new tires which would indicate driving without care. As far as equipment to change tires I would never recommend a renter changing the tire. The rental comes with roadside assistance and it should always be used. The vehicle is too heavy and dangerous to try to change the tire.
The rig is exactly as advertized. Everything works including the generator. Both pickup and dropoff were easy and Tim made accommodations to make it easier for me, including making sure I had a place to park a car so I wouldn't need a ride to pickup or dropoff.
This was our first RV experience and Timothy was as helpful as could be. He showed us everything we needed to know to get us started. We really appreciate how he worked with us re: our schedule and delivery and was flexible as our schedule changed somewhat during our trip. Was a great experience all around and we would definitely recommend him and his RV.
We had an outstanding time as a first time RV traveling family!! Timothy was very patient and explained how to use the hook ups, and controls to fridge, and through out the RV. He has everything need from outlet adapters to hose extensions. RV drives great and he was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely be renting from him again in the very near future.
