The listing was misleading. The photos on the website show that the inside looks pretty new. That is not the case. The seats were peeling so bad that pieces of the seat would stick to our clothes. The gages for the water and waste tanks did not work. When I picked up the camper Michael went through the camper very quickly which made it hard to remember information.
The listing was very misleading and the pictures made the RV look new and clean. When we picked up the RV it had over 200,000 miles, and the wear and tear from those miles was very noticeable. The Bluetooth did not work, the FM radio would only pick up one or two channels if you were lucky, the rear bed would not go up into a seat position and the switch was short-circling with sparks and arcs.
Michael is a very kind host! However, the pictures and condition of the vehicle are misleading based on my families experience.
The seats are all very worn, arrived unclean, had to use jugs of water to flush toilet, sink not working, radio doesn’t work need to use phone, rear tv does work with dvd nor tried hooking up to Apple TV, and driver tire is bald.
The RV was used to get my grandchildren & I to Disneyworld and back due to the major issue with the airlines these days. It did a great job getting us there & back safety and comfortably. It was good on fuel for a van that large and had all the space to keep my two grandkids (9 & 7) happy and quiet throughout the trip.
Want to try a class B RV so I rented this one. At the same rate, my friends booked a 2020 class C with no 5 days rental minimal so their cost is even less then us (remember this is a 2015 model). Communication is OK overall.
Issue:
1, Biggest issue was engine over heat, we faced this issue twice during the trip.
There is quite a difference in the Class B compared to the Class C.
As for the Issues
1. Mechanic replaced part to address over heating issue.
2. At Pick up renter was notified that the intsa hot water line was broken and if lever was push would leak. No other leak was found.
3. The AC furnace (Heat Pump) was never discussed at pick up this is not recommended for heat use.
4.
This was our first RV experience and Michael made it very easy. We actually reached out to him several months before our trip and asked if we could see the vehicle and he was extremely accommodating. Once we actually rented the vehicle, Michael made the the pre-trip review very easy and educational.
