I've learned something valuable about RV's ... they all have their own personalities and quirks. This one is no different... what sets this rental aside from other is the service we got from the RV's caretaker, Jim.
The communication was great, he was able to accommodate us being several hours late to pickup (Traffic was bad getting down from Chicago) and made us feel like family.
Do not rent this RV. Here's what happened to me.
1. Picked up RV - Had to clean out potatoes, carrots and someone's
prescription.
2. Quickly found out the refrigerator didn't work. Only had the freezer space. The front of the freezer was cold for milk and the back would freeze. Had to buy a cooler and ice ALL week.
3. Battery was bad.
We enjoyed the use of the RV. It was clean with all necessary supplies. Linens were supplied. Good pillows! Appliances and bathroom worked well. But it should be known that it is a well loved/used RV and has some issues because of it (rattling, window issue, loose trim etc)
Nice RV that has been taken care of.
Great experience for us first time RV’ers! RV was comfortable, easy to maneuver and had everything we needed (pots, pans, toiletries, etc). Highly recommended!
Could not have been happier with the RV and the rental experience. Allison and Tony were wonderful to deal with and made the whole process very easy and fun. I recommend them and this RV to anyone.
