Renter must obtain an insurance Rider/Binder/Endorsement from their personal auto insurance carrier, adding "Talk O'Town Properties, LLC" to the policy as a “Loss Payee”. The binder must list the renter and the vehicle as “Additional Insured”. Insurance must be full coverage, comprehensive, collision and liability. The limits of liability shall be at least the minimum limits required by applicable compulsory or financial responsibility law. The deductibles shall not exceed $1000. The value of the RV shall be listed as $16,000. The vehicle VIN will appear in your rental agreement when you sign it. This binder policy will extend the renters full insurance coverage while they operate the rented RV. Auto insurance companies that offer free RV rental insurance binders are: State Farm, Farmers, AAA, USAA, 21st Century, AllState, Wawanesa, American Family Insurance, Country Financial, Accord. If your auto insurance carrier is not listed above you can still check with your insurance carrier to see if they will provide a binder. Be aware not all auto insurance carriers will provide a binder.
Extended monthly rentals can be negotiated if more than a month would be reserved.
Gas tank should be full upon return. The grey and black waste water tanks should be dumped, fully rinsed. There should be no sewage smell or visible waste when looking down toilet. If they are not empty, a $20 dumping convenience fee applies. RV is expected to be returned in the same condition it was rented. Counters, table, sink and refrigerator/freezer should all be wiped and clean. Carpet should be spot free and vacuumed. Bed should be stripped, but sheets and other linens do not have to be washed. Personal items left in RV after drop off will be considered abandoned, owner can dispose of as necessary. There may be items you need to purchase for the RV during your trip. If they are not items you plan or can take with you, you must discuss with owner prior to purchase whether compensation will be made.
If you visit a National Park, a permit will be needed. If not already affixed to vehicle, you will be reimbursed for purchase of an Annual pass. Same for State parks in the States of South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming. No compensation for States not listed above. For the year 2017, there is a permit to visit all Canadian National Parks.
Pets are permitted, damages including evidence of pet hair, is charged accordingly and include actual damage costs and loss of use charges.
Towing is permitted with this vehicle. Contact me if special equipment will be needed. I can also help work with you to secure moped or golf cart if needed. No guarantee finding one, but will do what I can. If I can locate one I will put you in touch directly with entity renting such.
Under no circumstances may the RV enter Mexico!
