Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park

Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is an extraordinary place filled with details of the 36th president's life from his early days with his beloved family to his final resting place on his LBJ Ranch. A modern exhibit center focuses on the cattle business and settlement history of the early Johnson family. Visitors come from all over to tour Johnson's Boyhood Home, the one-room schoolhouse, Texas White House, and LBJ Ranch. The temperatures are generally sunny throughout the better part of the year with good rainfall in April and May. In July and August, temperatures have reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit, so it is advisable to wear light clothing.
