Korean War Veterans Memorial

The Korean War Veterans Memorial is south of the National Mall's Reflecting Pool. The first part of this Washington D.C. memorial is a wall intersecting a circle, and the wall has over 2,300 photos from the conflict sandblasted into it. The next part of the memorial consists of 19 stainless steel statues of patrolling soldiers in full uniform. Immediately to the north is another wall designed to represent the United Nations. The memorial ends with a black granite reflecting pool.
