My favorite place to camp, without a question, is the North Shore of Lake Superior. My wife and I have watched our children grow up from infants to young adults now. Photos began when they could barely walk, holding my hand, to the most recent pics where the boys are bigger than Dad! Our family has faithfully kept the North Shore Adventure an annual tradition for twenty years. I enjoy hiking, fly fishing, supporting my kids. I enjoy landscaping at home throughout the Summer. Other great trips have been to the Tetons and the The Bighorn River in Montana. The best place in the summer for camping I'd probably have to say is South East Minnesota.
