ON-SITE AMENITIES

The Hard Rock Stadium includes ATMs, concessions, merchandise and team stores, water fountains and bottle refill stations and phone charging stations. It's also ADA-accessible, complete with seating, elevators and designated parking options.

LOCATION

The stadium is accessible from several major highways, including the Florida Turnpike, Interstate 95 (I-95), Interstate 595 (I-595) and I-95 & SR 826 (Palmetto Expressway). U.S. Highway 441 (SR-7) is an east-side "local hack" route. The stadium seats nearly 65,000 guests, which can lead to post-game gridlock on NW 199th Street. Plan accordingly by adding extra travel time or leaving about 30 minutes after the game. RV parking and event-day tailgating are usually in the Yellow Lot East, which is near the Florida Turnpike. If you're driving your own vehicle and not planning to tailgate, you can skip the main-road gridlock by finding local parking in the area. Many travelers use parking apps like Prked to find and book a spot in advance. Nearby spots include Miami Beach, Wynwood Walls and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. If you'd rather enjoy more sports-related action, book a Hard Rock Stadium Tour. Whether you're tailgating or exploring, you should always prepare for Florida's weather. It's essential to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen in the midday sun. Temperatures may drop into the 50s and 60s at night, so pack accordingly. Rain is rare during January in Miami Gardens, but cold fronts can still cause stray showers.

RVING AT THE EVENT

The Hard Rock Stadium provides game-day RV parking with a pre-purchased pass. The lot opens four hours before kickoff and closes shortly after the game. However, overnight parking is not allowed at the stadium, so you'll need to reserve a spot at a nearby campground.

Where to Camp Near the Orange Bowl

Hollywood KOA is about a 15-minute drive from the stadium, while C.B. Smith Park is about 20 to 30 minutes away. Both campgrounds include full hookups, Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.

RV Rental Tips for the Orange Bowl

Parking passes and nearby campgrounds usually sell out for a big event like this, so it's best to book early. When you're ready to rent your RV, consider a Class A or Class C motorhome. Both include private, comfortable areas and exterior awnings. While many nearby campgrounds offer free hookups, you can prepare for your stay with these tips: • Confirm the campground's electrical amperage, and purchase a dog bone adapter if necessary. • Keep your toilet tank (black tank) valve closed until it's time to dump. • Consider RV-friendly toilet paper. • Pack wheel locks to ensure your RV remains parked during the event and overnight.

WHERE TO STAY

If you would prefer to stay at a hotel, the Stadium Hotel is about 1 mile from the venue and provides round-trip event shuttles. Other close options include the Hilton Miami Aventura and the popular Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Additionally, the Elser Hotel & Residences in Downtown Miami provides high-end amenities and easy access to the stadium.

HOW TO GET THERE

The stadium is accessible from areas like Fort Lauderdale, Downtown Miami, Naples and the West Coast of Florida. From Fort Lauderdale (North): Take I-95 South to the Golden Glades Interchange. From Downtown Miami (South): Take I-95 North to the Golden Glades Interchange. From Naples / West Coast of Florida (West): Take I-75 to Florida's Turnpike.

TICKETS & PRICING

Tickets for the Orange Bowl range from $100 to well into the thousands. Options include standard seating, suites, The Nine, Theater Box, Bodega Lounge, 72 Club and 72 Club LRB. WRAP UP

3-Day RV Itinerary for the Orange Bowl

It's best to plan at least a three-day trip, especially if you plan to tailgate. This way, you'll have time to set up, enjoy the event and drive home feeling refreshed. You may even be able to explore the best the area has to offer. • Day 1 (Wednesday): Arrive and settle in before enjoying a meal or exploring the campgrounds. If scheduled, attend the Orange Bowl Pep Rally Parade or Fan Fest to get show off your team spirit. Otherwise, play a game at Topgolf Miami Gardens or schedule a Hard Rock Stadium Tour. • Day 2 (Thursday): Game day! Grab breakfast to fuel for a day of fun and sports, starting with an RV tailgate in the Yellow Lot East of the stadium. When the doors open, check out the merchandise and team stores before kickoff. After the game, discuss the results with your group while heading back to your campsite to turn in. • Day 3 (Friday): Treat yourself to a slow morning by grabbing breakfast and packing up. If you have time, catch some rays at Sunny Isles Beach or check out the nearby shopping districts. When you're finished resting or exploring, hit the road home after an exciting few days of college football.
