Fox Raceway is an off-road racetrack in Pala, California, and in late May 2025 it will once again serve as the location of the first round of the Pro Motocross Championship circuit, the Fox Raceway National. It was previously the site of the final round of the series in 2010 and 2011. With a challenging track layout, Fox Raceway has a reputation as a high-stakes motocross venue.
Each round of the Motocross Nationals consists of two motocross races for the 250 and 450 classes, and Fox Raceway is holding the very first round. The winners of the entire championship will receive the coveted Edison Dye Cup in the 450 and the Gary Jones Cup in the 250.
The Fox Raceway National takes place on Saturday, May 24, 2025. On Friday, the racers will take part in a bike inspection and conduct media interviews. On Saturday, the practice races begin at 8 a.m., the 125 All-Stars Race starts at 11:45 a.m., the 250 Consolation Race begins at noon, and the 450 Consolation Race begins at 12:15 p.m. The opening ceremonies begin at 12:40 p.m., and the moto races start at 1:10 p.m.
The Red Plate Cafe offers burgers, sandwiches, fries, and soft drinks when you want a quick bite between events, and the Fox Pro Shop has a variety of boots on sale for motocross enthusiasts. First aid is located at the ambulance station on Amateur Side B at the raceway, and security is headquartered at the Main Entrance/Gate 1. For your safety, no glass bottles are allowed in fan viewing areas, and pets must stay in camping areas.
The Fox Raceway is located on the Pala Band of Mission Indians reservation in Pala, California, between the Cleveland National Forest in the east and the cities of Escondido and Carlsbad in the west. San Diego is also nearby, with its many attractions, including its world-famous zoo, miles of sandy beaches, and a vast array of dining choices.

There will be camping available at the siter of the Fox Raceway National for both RVs and tents. However, it's dry camping with no electricity or water hookups. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Here are some tips for camping at Fox Raceway:
• Choose to stay in the Preferred Camping area if possible to be closer to all of the action on the track. Fan Camping areas are also available but are located farther from the track itself.
• Come early to get the best campsite. Sites are made available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to beat the crowds if you’d like to stay in a Preferred Camping area.
• Generators are permitted, but campers are advised to stay aware of the possible carbon monoxide poisoning risks from these types of units. To keep yourself safe while camping, keep generators outside and away from vehicles, and make sure your RV is well-ventilated.
• Campers must be checked out of the campground by 10 a.m. on Sunday after the event.
Some hotels and other campgrounds are available for you to stay at in the San Diego area that are within a short drive from the venue.
• Escondido RV Resort: This resort is located on the north side of Escondido. It has lots of amenities and is conveniently close to attractions like the San Diego Zoo and Ron McLeod City Park. It has a dog park, a hot tub, and a pool. There are 127 sites with full hookups that are a mix of back-in and pull-through sites.
• All Seasons RV Park & Campground: Located north of Escondido, All Seasons has wonderful views of the surrounding hillsides. You will enjoy the numerous palm trees, and you can both swim and fish in the large lake. There are 150 back-in and pull-through sites and three laundries for your convenience. Pets are allowed.
• Pala Casino Spa Resort: This resort is a luxurious hotel that is found just down the street from the raceway. Multiple eateries are found at the resort, and a casino is attached.
Fox Raceway is conveniently close to major interstates and state highways. From San Diego, take I-15 north to Highway 76 and drive east. From Carlsbad and Oceanside, take Highway 76 east. From Los Angeles, take I-5 south and then Highway 76 east.
Parking at the venue is available for an additional fee on Saturday. The gates will open at noon on Thursday for campers that can park at their sites with permit tags.
Tickets for the motocross event start at $69, and tickets for premium seating are available.
