Also known as the Kansas 400, the AdventHealth 400 is the 15th race in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series. The race takes place at the Kansas Speedway, a 1.5-mile tri-oval track in Kansas City. It spans 400.5 miles, which requires 267 laps around the track. It's a race known for high drama, with the 2024 event ending in the closest finish in NASCAR history. The result was a win for Kyle Larson, who edged out Chris Buescher by an unbelievable 0.001 seconds.
The Kansas Speedway has plenty of entertainment options and activities for visitors. It hosts meet and greets with NASCAR drivers and staff, garage tours, and other race-related activities. The speedway is also adjacent to the Hollywood Casino, which boasts a sports bar with clear track views.
While at the race, you can take advantage of numerous food, drink, and souvenir vendor locations. There are also food trucks on-site, and you can even rent radio scanners to listen to team communications during the race.
The AdventHealth 400 takes place at the Kansas Speedway, located at:

Kansas City, KS 66111
If you plan to take your RVshare rental to the AdventHealth 400, you will be pleased to know that the Kansas Speedway is RV-friendly. It offers three separate RV camping options on the grounds. Some require reservations, while others operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Consider reserving a spot at the Infield Campground for the best possible RV experience at the race. To secure one, you'll need a season pass, which starts at $395. Each RV spot measures 20' by 45' and accommodates self-driven, pop-up, 5th-wheel, and towed RVs. The only caveat is that 5th-wheel and towed RVs require an additional add-on vehicle pass. You also get two infield admission wristbands, and your spot entitles you to purchase up to eight more.
Another on-site RV option is the Terrace Campgrounds. There's one in each corner of the track, all offering amenities similar to those at the Infield Campground. However, the Terrace RV spots also have 50-amp electrical and water hookups. It's important to note that the Turn 3, 4, and Backstretch Terraces only allow self-driven RVs. If you want the best possible view of the race from your spot, you'll want one within the Turn 3 Terrace. It offers complete views of the whole track but requires significant planning. The site has just 10 spots; you'll likely need to join a waitlist to secure one.
Finally, there are five RV sites just outside of the track itself. They are the Richmond, Phoenix, Martinsville, and Daytona White and Blue Campgrounds. The Daytona White and Blue Campgrounds allow self-driven, 5th-wheel, and towed RVs. The three other campgrounds allow those types as well as pop-ups. Be aware, however, that you must purchase at least two grandstand tickets in addition to the campground fee to use any of these five sites.
If you're not planning to stay at the Kansas Speedway itself, you can choose from a few nearby RV sites. They include:
Kansas City West/Lawrence KOA – Located about 30 minutes from the Kansas Speedway, the Kansas City West/Lawrence KOA has plenty to offer RVing race fans. It features sites that can accommodate RVs up to 65' long. Plus, there are sites with 30 and 50-amp electrical service and full hookups. The site also boasts a snack bar, Wi-Fi service, a kids zipline, and laundry facilities.
Basswood Resort – Located in nearby Platte City, MO, the Basswood Resort is another excellent RV site option about 30 minutes away from Kansas Speedway. It has a mixture of gravel and concrete-pad RV spots with 20, 30, or 50-amp electrical service. Some even feature decks and private shaded areas. The facility offers Wi-Fi, cable TV, and picnic tables.
If you will not be staying in an RV while attending the event, there are numerous hotels in Kansas City. However, you should make your reservation several months in advance to secure your accommodations.
You have a few options when driving to the AdventHealth 400. The three recommended by Kansas Speedway officials are:
Interstate 70 Get on I-70 at the 110th Street exit 410. This highway will take you to Speedway Boulevard, with easy access to the parking area at Talladega Drive.
East of I-435 Travel west on State Avenue until reaching Speedway Boulevard. You'll see signs for Speedway parking as you approach.
From I-435 Traveling from I-435, you can get onto I-70 West and take the exit for Speedway Boulevard. However, the Kansas Speedway staff does not recommend this route as the highway tends to get backed up during race day. Instead, take the State Avenue exit and turn onto Parallel Parkway to avoid delays.
Parking in the grass lots around the Kansas Speedway is free for visitors. However, there are closer parking areas that require paid reservations. Access to these areas is complimentary if you're a season ticket holder.
You can purchase tickets to the AdventHealth 400 on the Kansas Speedway's event website. There are multiple ticketing options, including passes to pre-race events.
