There are also lots of vegetarian dishes, street food and options from well-known Reno food trucks. Support young entrepreneurs at the Children’s Entrepreneur Market on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. Children will be running their own businesses by selling handmade treats and goods. Take part in rides and games at the Brass Ring Amusements Midway of Fun carnival. Note that some rides have minimum height requirements, and there are also no refunds.

WHERE TO STAY

HOW TO GET THERE

U.S. Highway 50 is the main route cutting through the center of Carson City, coming from the east. If you're arriving on Route 50 from the east, you'll get taken straight to Mills Park after the highway crosses Interstate 580 and turns into E. Williams Street. If you're coming in on Route 50 from the west at the intersection with U.S. Highway 395, then just remain on it eastward, as it will take you right to the fairgrounds. If you're coming in from the north, such as from Reno, simply get on Interstate 580, take Exit 39 and head west on East Williams Street. Note that Carson City is about an eight-hour drive from Las Vegas. It's a long, winding trip using mostly U.S. Route 95.

There's free general public car parking at the Mills Park lot. Free parking is also available at Carson High School, just across N. Saliman Road from Mills Park.

Since entry to the Nevada State Fair is free, there's no need to purchase tickets. There is a cost for food and drinks as well as for the carnival rides.
