RVING AT THE EVENT

There are limited spaces for RVing at the Minnesota State Fair and the campground for the fair is open August 16 – September 4th. It’s extremely popular, and sites are filled on a first-come, first served basis, depending on requested dates and camper dimensions, after an application is submitted. Online reservations for fair-time camping will go live on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 9 a.m. After that time, you may call the campground office to be added to the waiting list.

Some information to keep in mind about RVing onsite at the Minnesota State Fair:

  • Daily camping rates are determined by the width of the campsite: $30 for standard, $35 for non-slide units wider than 8 feet and $45 for slide-out campers. Pulled and extra vehicles are $15 a day. Fees do not include admission to the fair.
  • The campgrounds are unable to accommodate slide-out campers wider than the 14’ site dimensions. For this reason, when filling out the application, exact measurements of your RV are needed. Misrepresentation of camper dimensions will result in the loss of campsite.
  • All sites have 20 amp service, guaranteed.
  • There are three shared dump stations, temporary water hookups, restrooms, showers and coin-operated laundry.
  • 12/3 electrical cords between the camper and fair outlet boxes must be used.
