St. Clair Landing is a small oceanfront campground that offers convenient access to nearby attractions as well as Route 12. Warm and accommodating hosts are always available at the office. However, the star of this attraction is the beautiful sunsets that can be seen over Pamlico Sound.
After starting over after Hurricane Irene ravaged the grounds with floodwater and wind, this family-run campground has rebuilt concrete pads, electric and sewer hookups, and an improved bathhouse. What’s more, Mom’s produce stand, which was once found toppled over in a nearby parking lot, is again full of ripe fruits and vegetables. Guests here are treated like family, and the friendly staff is always on hand to answer questions or help direct campers in the right direction.
