Fischers Lilly Park is a small RV campground located in Fort Pierre, South Dakota. Known as the meeting place of the Lakota and Lewis and Clark on their expedition, this is part of the National Register of Historic Places. It is also at the mouth of the Bad River, making it a great home base for anglers and boaters.
Fischers Lilly Park boasts 12 nicely maintained RV pads. The sites are first-come, first-serve. There is an in-park playground area for young children. There is also a boat ramp and walking bridge over the Bad River. The picnic area is an excellent covered spot for both small cookouts and larger get-togethers. You cannot beat the low Pierre RV park rates here.
“This campground is affordable, quiet, and has a beautiful view! What I love most about this park is that it is first-come, first-serve. We came just before a holiday and didn’t realize it. Most of the other parks with water and electric were taken. As a last resort, we tried this one. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised by this park. The view, the play park, and the riverboat access made our stay here very pleasant. The only thing that was a little bit of an inconvenience was the dump station. For $15 per night, I would say this is a bargain.” – Charne, Google Review
