Our favorite lodging option when exploring Utah? An RV, of course! Fortunately, when you’re visiting Logan, there are a few great campgrounds to choose from, meaning you shouldn’t have any trouble at all finding a place to park while you go play.
Hyrum Lake State Park — One of our favorite places to stay when visiting Logan is Hyrum Lake State Park. This is a fantastic park with plenty of greenery and a beautiful lake. The sites have water and electricity, and a dump station and clean bathhouses are available to guests. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you!

The amount you spend on a visit to Cache Valley Fun Park is totally dependent on what you decide to do while you’re there. Bowling costs between $2.20 and $4.85 per game (plus shoe rental), skating is $4.60 per session (plus skate rental), a playground pass is $4.75, and a 30-minute axe-throwing session will set you back $8.50.
There is a cafe onsite. Here you can get pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, and sweet treats. This is great because it means you can play all day without any worry about what to eat!
Cowabunga Bay Water Park
Next on the list, a waterpark. Cowabunga Bay Water Park is located in Draper and is the perfect spot to spend a hot summer day. The colorful park has everything you’d expect from a waterpark and more, and we’re certain your family will have an amazing time during their visit.
Hoping for some thrills during your day at the waterpark? You’re in luck because Cowabunga Bay is home to a number of incredible water slides. These include “Mondo,” which is an 800-foot-long enclosed slide, and “Bombora,” which features a figure-8 and a 45-degree drop.
Those looking for something a bit more chill to do in the park will be pleased to find Cowabunga Beach, where they can sit and relax while their kids play in the zero-depth entry pool. Cowabunga River is lovely too, as it allows you to bob along and let all your cares float away.

This park is bigger than many other waterparks out there, and the place is filled to the brim with awesome things to do. No matter who you bring along, they’re sure to find something awesome to do in this place.
The pools are the place to be if you’re looking to take a dip while in the park. Rocky Mountain Beach is an awesome zero-entry pool that is home to some serious waves. Meanwhile, Canyon River uses a strong current to pull you past waterfalls and underneath bridges. Lastly, you must visit Cascade Falls, a lovely waterfall surrounded by water-based activities.
Hoping for some thrills? Don’t worry, there are plenty of those as well. The Boomerang is an awesome halfpipe slide that sends you sliding back and forth. Shotgun Falls features incredible slopes. The Avalanche is a mat racer that is perfect for a group of friends.

It features level gravel sites with full hookups and cable TV, as well as clean bathhouses and a pool. Evermore Park
The most unique amusement park in Utah—and easily one of the most unique theme parks in the country—Evermore Park is a must-visit while in the state. This fantasy adventure park is located just outside of Salt Lake City in Pleasant Grove, and is a wonderful place to let your imagination run free.
Evermore doesn’t really have any traditional amusement park rides. The closest thing is the train that runs around the perimeter of the park, giving guests a guided tour of the fantasy land. The park features lots of wandering fantasy characters who are happy to interact with guests.
