The park is run by the United Methodist Church, so it’s easy to understand that the campground is very peaceful, even during the nighttime. This campground is open from March through December, and during that time, there are a lot of activities and events to attend. During the warm summer months, swimming is available, and there are more than a few activities to be enjoyed on the nearby Susquehanna River. During the cooler months, there’s a sizable pavilion to use if you plan a group activity such as a family reunion, and there are hiking opportunities in the area to enjoy the outdoors.

We are nestled on 50 acres of a quiet wooded mountainside, and easily reached by car. Our cabins are located on the northern end of Lake Raystown near Huntingdon, PA. The dam is about one mile from our cabins and the nearest park service boat launch, Snyder’s Run, is within five miles of us.
The cabins are comfortable. There are horses and plenty of other animals that live on the property that kids and adults enjoy.
