RV Rentals at America's Largest RV Show

There are many food concessions available, so you can satisfy your hunger and/or slake your thirst in any number of ways. There are draws for giveaways, which include a camper giveaway. Participate in scavenger hunts, too, which are a terrific family-friendly activity. Should you be a relative newcomer to the RV lifestyle, then you can attend seminars and other classes. The top activity at the show is getting to meet new people and forge new friendships and/or relationships.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

Aside from the dry camping location and food concessions, you can also find public restrooms. Should you need mobility devices like scooters and/or wheelchairs, they're available. They are first-come, first-served, however, so if you need such a device, then it's better if you bring your own. Remember to read the rules about such devices on the applicable webpage.

LOCATION

The event's address is 550 West Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA, 17033. The Giant Center is a large building that hosts other such events. Both Pennsylvania Route 39 and U.S. Route 422 pass right by Hersheypark, making the venue easily accessible.

RVING AT THE EVENT

RVs have been a part of American travel since roughly 1910. The idea was to take some of the comforts of home on the road while traveling. Since that time, the concept has morphed into taking all the comforts of home along for the ride. America's Largest RV Show celebrates the last 115 years of RV excitement and beyond. More than 50 years ago, the first Pennsylvania consumer show featured some RVs. The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) joined the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association to display recreation vehicles at the Pennsylvania Farm Show building in Harrisburg. In 1970, PRVCA hosted the first show exclusively featuring RVs.

In 2005, PRVCA moved the show to The Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In its first year there, the show encompassed 943,000 square feet and hosted more than 28,000 attendees. It has grown tremendously through the years, even weathering a hurricane and a recession.

In 2008, PRVCA rebranded the show as “America’s Largest RV Show®.” Since then, thousands of people have attended the show to find out more about the RV lifestyle, talk to knowledgeable sales staff, and buy their dream RV. In 2017, America’s Largest RV Show welcomed a record 64,000 + attendees.

WHERE TO STAY

The Hershey Lodge is an option if you'd like to stay off-site. The property has 665 rooms, but America's Largest RV Show attracts tens of thousands of people every year. Therefore, you should book your room quite far in advance. The Hershey Lodge has both single rooms and suites available. 

The Hersheypark Camping Resort has both hotel accommodations and RV camping available. During the period from September 10-14, 2025, the campground provides sites with either full hookups or partial hookups. Check the website for further details.

Camp-a-While is a pet-friendly campground with classy amenities and reasonably priced pull-through RV campsites with full hookups. Should you want to glamp, then you can stay at one of the campground's lovely cabins, too.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Harrisburg: Take Route 422 east to Park Avenue. Turn northwest on Park Avenue. Then, turn south-southwest on Park Boulevard, which will take you to The Giant Center.

From Philadelphia: Take Route 76 north out of the city. Continue to follow signs for Route 76, proceeding west until you reach the junction with Elizabethtown Road, which you will take north. When you reach Route 322, turn west. Follow that until you reach the clover leaf that will direct you onto Route 422 East. Continue on Route 422 to Park Boulevard. Follow that north until you reach The Giant Center. Route 76 is also called the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

PARKING

For September 10-12, 2025, free parking is available in The Giant Center Lots. From Hersheypark Drive, turn onto Park Blvd. Stay to the right and pass through the toll booths. Follow the signs around the show to RV Show Parking. After driving beneath the overpass, make the first right into the parking area. Once parked, cross the Skywalk to the Ticket Sales Tent located in front of The Giant Center.

For September 13, 2025, due to Hersheypark traffic, show attendees are to park in the overflow parking lot at Longmeade Field. Parking is free. 

For September 14, 2025, free parking is available. Depending on the Hersheypark traffic, parking may be available in the main Hersheypark lot or in the overflow lot (Longmeade Field). Signs will be available to direct traffic to the appropriate lot.

Parking will open each morning at approximately 7:00 a.m.

TICKETS & PRICING

Starting in June 2025, tickets are available online. You must buy all tickets online.

• Children 12 and under: free

• Adults and children from 13-17 years of age: $12 in advance, $14 the day of

• Saturday price: $17 in advance, $19 the day of

• Sunday price: $8 in advance, $10 the day of

• Twilight Pass: After 3:00 p.m., $7; can be purchased the day of

• 3-Day Event Pass: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only, $25 in advance, $30 the day of

• Healthcare workers day: September 10 only, $7 in advance, $9 the day of; healthcare ID card required

• Seniors day: September 11 only, $7 in advance, $9 the day of, 55 and older

• Veterans and first responders day: September 12 only, $7 in advance, $9 the day of; veteran, active-duty, or first responder ID required

There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets.
