The DNS Outdoor Expo showcases all things outdoors! You'll find boats, RVs, campers, trailers, and hot tubs. You can also check out the latest gear for hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Along with many vendors, you'll see stage demonstrations and can enter to win great prizes. The Delmarva Sports Network will host the DNS Outdoor Expo at the Harrington Fairgrounds.
This two-day event is packed with exciting activities for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. • Vendors: Whether you're shopping for a new boat or RV or just curious about the latest gear, you'll find plenty to explore among the vendor booths. In addition to RVs and boats, vendors showcase backyard pools, ATVs, patio setups, camping gear, fishing equipment, and more. • Stage demonstrations: Throughout the event, you can catch a variety of live demonstrations covering outdoor skills and equipment. Past demonstrations have included fishing techniques, hunting tips, and ATV safety. There are food trucks on-site that offer a variety of snacks for hungry expo-goers. Since the event is held at the spacious Harrington Fairgrounds, you'll have plenty of room to explore vendor displays, grab a bite to eat, and take in everything the expo has to offer.
The DSN Outdoor Expo takes place at the Harrington Fairgrounds. The address is 18500 S. Dupont Highway in Harrington, Delaware. Because of the location directly off of the highway, the expo is easy to reach.
Stopping at the DNS Outdoor Expo is a great addition to an RV trip to Delaware because the venue is close to several excellent campgrounds and attractions. Some of the nearby RV parks include: • Killens Pond State Park: Killens Pond State Park offers full hookups on the grounds that were once a hunting spot for Native Americans. Today, the park offers wildlife viewing, fishing, a water park, and hiking trails. • Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay: Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay provides you with waterfront RV sites with full hookups. During your stay, you can enjoy an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, a private beach, and live entertainment. • Delaware Seashore State Park: Delaware Seashore State Park offers spacious RV sites that can accommodate big rigs with full hookups along the beautiful coastline. Enjoy beach access, fishing, boating, and wildlife watching during your stay at this scenic park. Here's what you should know when RVing in Harrington: • Weather: The weather in Harrington during the DNS Outdoor Expo can vary. Expect mild to warm temperatures with daytime highs ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s and chilly evenings. You should pack layers, including a light jacket for handing out at your campsite in the evening and comfortable clothing for the daytime. Also, have comfortable shoes available because you will be walking a lot at the expo. The First State National Historical Park, about an hour north, offers a glimpse into Delaware's colonial past with historic sites and scenic trails. If you enjoy unique roadside attractions, the Johnson Victrola Museum in Dover, roughly 25 minutes away, showcases the history of the famous Victor Talking Machine Company and early sound recording technology. For a fun detour, visit Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, a prime spot for birdwatching and nature photography, located about 40 minutes from Harrington.
If you are not taking your RV, several hotels are located in Harrington close to the expo. From Dover: Travel south on Highway 13. After passing through Harrington, the fairgrounds will be on your right. From Annapolis: Travel east on Highway 50, then take the exit for Highway 404. Follow Highway 404 to Highway 36, then take Highway 36 east to Highway 13. Turn north on Highway 13, and the fairgrounds will be on your left. From Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport (SBY): The closest major airport, SBY, is 46 miles from the Harrington Fairgrounds. From the airport, take Airport Road to MD-350, then turn onto US-50 W/Ocean Gateway. Follow US-13 N to Raceway Blvd. in Kent County, then continue on Raceway Blvd. until you reach the fairgrounds.
There is plenty of parking at the fairgrounds, and parking is free for the event.
You do not need tickets for the expo because admission is free.
