Leave No Trace Leaf

Bureau of Land Management campgrounds can be protected through the use of Leave No Trace practices. These practices include camping and hiking on durable surfaces and staying on trails, leaving as little impact on the land as possible. Minimize your campfire impact by using a designated fire ring or pit and ensuring the fire stays completely under control. Keep up to date on and obey any fire restrictions. Be aware that people use campgrounds and trails for different activities, so share the area and be alert for hikers, mountain bikers, or horseback riders. Respect the local wildlife and try not to get too close to or disturb any animals in the area.
