The town of Marina is just four minutes away. There is also a park within walking distance, and so is the beach. Walmart is close by. Santa Cruz is 32 miles to the north, but the Monterey Peninsula has many attractions, including excellent restaurants, whale watching excursions, surfing-worthy waves, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, championship golf courses, Carmel by the Sea, wine tasting tours and more.
