Blue Star RV Resort
Blue Star RV resort is for guests who are 55 years of age or older. As such, it’s a peaceful and relaxed RV park. The park is near Apache Junction and provides guests with both spectacular desert scenery and mountain adventures. The park is pet-friendly too, so even the fur children can tag along. Those guests interested in history can check out the Apache Trail tours or Air Force museum, both of which are nearby.
Superstition Sunrise RV Resort
Just off highway 60 in Apache Junction, this park is definitely more resort than it is a campground. With a recreation complex reaching over 45,000 feet and plenty of nearby shopping plazas, restaurants, casinos, and national parks, you’re guaranteed to have an unforgettable trip!

Apache Wells RV Resort is run by Cal-Am. This RV park mostly features mobile homes that are rented or owned outright by seniors. The park is medium-sized so you can enjoy getting to know a few neighbors during your stay.
Eagle View RV Resort at Fort McDowell
Sun Life Vacation Resort is operated by Cal-Am. As such, it is a 55+ RV park. It is located a few miles south of Fountain Hills in Mesa, AZ.
Val Vista Village RV Resort
This large RV resort is operated by Cal-Am. It is located in the suburb of Mesa, AZ. Numerous structured activities for seniors are scheduled every day.
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a huge park located to the north of Fountain Hills. It features extensive trails that are frequented by hikers and mountain bikers. This park features a large RV campground.
Coon Bluff Campground
If you’re looking for a chance to “rough it” in the woods, then stay at Coon Bluff Campground in the Tonto National Forest. It’s by the lower end of the Salt River where tubers enter the water and float. Camping is seasonal (October 1st through May 1st) and permitted only on weekends.
Desert Vista RV Resort
Desert Vista RV Resort is one of the smallest RV parks in the Chandler area, but it features a lot of amenities. The clubhouse was recently renovated, and there is brand new poolside seating. To stay at this park, at least one guest in your group must be 55 years old or older.
Good Life RV Resort
Good Life RV Resort is a huge RV park located in Mesa, Arizona. It caters to an older crowd, and you must be 55 years old or older to park your RV here. Since the main purpose of this park is to show seniors a fun time, there are multiple activities scheduled every day.
Arizona Cowboy RV Park
This small RV park is located east of Chandler in Apache Junction. It’s one of the closest RV parks to the Superstition Mountains. You can get to Tortilla Flat or Salt River from Arizona Cowboy RV Park in about 30 minutes.
Green Acres RV Park
Green Acres RV Park is a Good Sam RV park. That means you’ll receive reduced pricing if you’re a Good Sam member. The local train station is right across the street.
Lost Dutchman State Park
With 320 acres of desert plants and canyon trails, this state RV park near Payson is a hiker’s dream. If you’re experienced in mountain hiking, then you may be able to reach the Flatiron by following the Siphon Draw Trail. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and take plenty of water.
Hacienda Solano Resort
Haciendo Solano Resort is a Gilbert, AZ campground that is easy to access from downtown Gilbert. It features a large pool, and many other amenities are also available. This RV park is about three minutes away from downtown Gilbert.
Five Star RV Park
Five Star RV Park is located in the heart of downtown Gilbert. It features a small pond. The roads in this RV park are graveled.

Covered Wagon RV Park
This is one of the smaller RV parks in the El Mirage area. It has been in operation since the 1980s. There’s a pool, and the guests are a mix of full-time renters and snowbirds.
Phoenix Metro RV Park
Phoenix Metro RV Park is located on the east side of El Mirage. This location makes it easy to get into downtown Phoenix. The property is somewhat larger than other RV parks in the area.
North Phoenix Campground
Located just outside of Phoenix, Arizo, the Covered Wagon RV Park has a lot of excellent features that will appeal to families. In addition to boasting a swimming pool area, the park is close to several shopping centers, including the Metrocenter Mall and Christown Spectrum Mall. If you prefer something more artistic or educatiol, you will also be close to attractions like the Phoenix Art Museum and Celebrity Theater.
The MotorCoach Resort
This RV park caters exclusively to drivers of motor coaches, which is another term for Class A, Class B, and Class C RVs. This park has a unique layout that consists of widely spaced pads oriented around a central sandy lot. The MotorCoach Resort is situated on eight landscaped acres.
Sundial RV Park
Sundial RV Park is located in the heart of Peoria making it a perfect destination for a relaxing Arizona Vacation. With easy access to major roads, this conveniently located park is a great home base. Forty-five minutes North is Lake Pleasant, a popular lake and recreation area for hiking, boating and other water activities. Wild donkeys can also be spotted at the lake!
