There is so much to do at Prairie Creek Campground that you’ll never get bored. You can swim, play basketball, participate in water sports, go hiking, and view wildlife. There is also biking and canoeing, and you can even hunt deer and waterfowl in the nearby Lowndes Wildlife Magement Area.

Enjoy camping on the backwaters of the Alabama River. When you stay at Gunter Hill, affiliated with the Army Corps of Engineers, you will have the opportunity to fish, hunt, boat and swim on the Catoma Creek. Year-round camping is the norm in this mild-weather area.

Sherling Park also offers pavilion and boat rentals and sells concessions, making it one of the most convenient campgrounds in Greenville, Alabama.
Not only is Sherling Lake Park beautiful, but there are also plenty of things to do. You can spend your day fishing, swimming, or playing at the playground with your children. If you are a movie buff, you can go sightseeing around town to view the places where famous movies and reality shows were filmed. This is one of the most peaceful Greenville campgrounds in the region.
