Our family loves going to parks to enjoy nature, hike, watch sunrises and sunsets and just relax under the stars. At first, we stayed in hotels but driving back and forth ate our time. We tried tent camping for the first time in Bryce Canyon. It was cold but had lots of fun! We laughed, grilled meat, and made lots of s’mores. The Night sky was magnificent. The Milky Way was right above our tent! Looking back, we knew our teenage children enjoyed themselves more. My daughter even said, “I like that we can cook, unlike in hotels.”
Last January, we went to Big Bend National Park with our parents with Ben, our first RV. It was scary to us to camp in the cold but the RV made it possible. Our RV kept us warm; and my family and I filled the RV with laughter. We watched the sunrise at Santa Elena Canyon, the sunset and the start-studded night sky at the Rio Grande campground. Our trip was very fun and memorable.
We hope to help your adventure be memorable as ours were.
