The Reno Boat and RV Show provides attendees with the unique opportunity to experience three exciting events for the price of one. The main attraction is a spectacular showcase of the latest boats and motorhomes, all displayed at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. However, there’s so much more to explore!. Visitors can also check out the Off-Road Motorsports Expo, featuring a variety of dirt bikes and ATVs, or head over to the Reno Boat & Recreation Travel & Vacation Show, where expert tips await to help you make the most of your RV adventures.
The Reno-Sparks Convention Center’s cavernous display halls will be packed with the latest motorhomes and pleasure boats for the duration of the Reno Boat and RV Show. There will also be displays from companies offering RV parts and equipment, repair services, and storage. This is the show to attend to find out about the latest RV developments and innovations.
The Reno-Sparks Convention Center is a state-of-the-art conference and expo facility with a long and impressive list of amenities. Reno’s largest convention facility has on-site security, and its upper floors can be accessed by elevator or escalator. Food choices include several healthy options, and the entire 600,000-square-foot facility is air-conditioned.

The Reno-Sparks Convention Center is located in downtown Reno close to Interstate 580 and Nevada State Route 659. The closest major airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport, which is about three miles away.
There is no dedicated RV camping at the Reno Boat and RV Show because there are no large vacant lots with hookups close to the venue, but that doesn’t mean that you will have to leave your motorhome behind if you attend the event. There are several excellent RV parks and campgrounds close to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, and many of them offer excellent amenities. Many RVers think River West Resort is the best campground in Reno. Nestled on the banks of the scenic Truckee River, River West offers back-in sites starting at $71.75, pull-through sites starting at $83.05, and riverfront sites starting at $111.86.
If you are looking for more affordable RV camping, Grand Sierra Resort has nightly rates starting at just $57.63 including taxes and fees. Sites that can handle the biggest rigs have either 30-amp or 50-amp electric hookups, and on-site amenities include showers, restrooms, and a general store.
Shamrock RV Park has been voted one of the top 100 small parks in America, and it is located just a short drive from the convention center. The 121 sites at Shamrock RV Park are paved and professionally landscaped, and the on-site amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, dog park, and laundry.
If you would prefer to stay in a hotel when you visit the Reno Boat and RV Show, you will be spoiled for choice. There are several great hotels within walking distance of the convention center, and some of them are quite affordable. You will be able to walk to the show from the Element Reno Experience District by Marriott in about 10 minutes. This three-star Marriott property has a large pool and well-equipped fitness center, and comfortable rooms start at about $267 per night.
If you would like to try your luck at the tables during your visit to Reno, you could book a room at the Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino. Room rates start at just $47 per night, but you will also have to pay a $39.95 per night resort fee to use the hotel’s facilities. That fee will grant you access to a beautiful health club and spa and dining options ranging from gourmet to casual.
RV travelers who are looking for basic accommodations during the Reno Boat and RV Show often stay at the Best Western. You will have to take a short drive to reach the event, but you can book a clean and comfortable room for about $168 per night with no resort fees to worry about.
If you are driving to the venue from the airport, take E. Plumb Lane to I-580. You will get off the interstate at exit 30, which is signposted So. Virginia Street. You will see the venue ahead. If you take Route 659 to reach Reno, you will exit at So. Virginia Street and proceed to the venue.
Reno Boat and RV Show attendees don’t struggle to find parking because the facility is surrounded by large lots. You may have a 20-minute walk to the convention center after exiting your vehicle, but it will only cost you $10 per day to park.
The event website’s Tickets page lists the prices as $15 for adults, $8 for seniors, and free admission for children under 12 years of age.
