The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show happens in this small desert town at the same time as some rock, gem and mineral shows and flea markets. It's billed as "The Largest Gathering of RVers in the World" and the Arizona Highway Department says between 750,000 and one million people come to town for the events.
The RV show features hundreds of exhibitors including RV dealers, restaurants and food prep companies, RV accessories stores, decor companies, and much more. There are also free workshops and seminars by top RV brands like Jayco and Keystone, RV tour companies, and makers of supplies like RV batteries.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
There are many food trucks that come to this RV show, so you'll find plenty of food options for the day. The event is also dog-friendly, and you can bring your pooch as long as he's on a leash.
LOCATION
The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show takes place at 700 S. Central Blvd in Quartzsite, Arizona. Quartzsite is just 20 miles from the California border, making this warm desert town a great getaway for many people looking to escape a cold, snowy winter.
RVING AT THE EVENT
Many people head to Quartzsite in the wintertime, especially if they're looking for a warm place to pass the winter! If you want to head to the largest gathering of RVs in the country, you may want to consider a rental from RVshare for your trip!
As you're planning, be sure to consider the size of motorhome or trailer you need, the number of people you want to accommodate, and any other amenities you'll want. Since there is lots of BLM land in the area, you may want to consider long-term boondocking while you're visiting Quartzsite.
WHERE TO STAY
If you are RVing, there is lots of BLM land nearby where you can camp. Rice Ranch North Campground is within walking distance of the RV show, and there are several other campgrounds in town as well. Because of the popularity of the area in January, you'll want to reserve a campsite well in advance of the show.
You'll also find several hotels and motels in town, or in Parker, about half an hour away.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show is just off the 10 Freeway. Head south on Central Blvd and you'll see the show on the western side.
PARKING
There is plenty of on-site parking for the RV show, including handicapped parking. However, parking spaces are designed for cars and trucks. It is possible Class B campervans or very small RVs can fit the spots, but there is no parking for large RVs. It's best to plan on keeping your rig at your campsite and walking or driving a towed vehicle to the show.
TICKETS & PRICING
Admission to the show is free and you do not need tickets to attend.
