Rent an RVThe best-known RV dealers in the Indianapolis area will be at this show, with special rates on their RVs. You'll find the latest models of motorhomes, trailers, pop-up campers, toy haulers, and more. You can also browse RV accessories and products and learn about campgrounds and RV destinations.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
There are concessions at the fairgrounds. There is also parking on-site at the fairgrounds. Service dogs are allowed at the show, but all other pets are not.
LOCATION
The Indy RV Expo is held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 1202 E 38th St, Indianapolis, Indiana.
RVING AT THE EVENT
You may want to camp at the Indy RV Expo, which allows you to try out any new purchases from the show! You may also want to consider renting an RV from RVshare before or during the show. Trying out a rental allows you to see what features you want in your own RV. If you already have an RV in mind, trying it out by renting ahead of time lets you see how it handles and if it has the amenities and space you want.
If you'll be camping, you could take a road trip from Daytona Beach, the Great Smoky Mountains, or Chicago to the show - or vacation at these places afterward!
WHERE TO STAY
You'll have plenty of choices for RV camping in Indianapolis! Camp right in the city, or go to the outskirts to be closer to nature. Some campgrounds feature lakes for some picturesque scenery.
There are also several hotels nearby if you'd rather stay in a hotel than camp.
HOW TO GET THERE
The fairgrounds are just north of downtown Indianapolis. If you're headed to the site from cities in the north like Chicago, take I-65 to exit 119 at West 38th St. Continue 4.5 miles until you get to the fairgrounds. From Fort Wayne, take I-69 until it becomes Binford Blvd. in Indianapolis. It eventually turns into Fall Creek Parkway. Turn right on East 38th St. and drive to the fairgrounds.
From the south, take I-65 to I-70 Est. Take exit 85B to North Keystone Ave. Turn left on East 38th St. and the fairgrounds will be on the right. From the east, take I-70, exit at Keystone Ave and turn right. Turn left on East 38th St. and drive to the fairgrounds.
PARKING
There is parking available at the fairgrounds for $10 per vehicle. The parking lot takes cash or cards.
TICKETS & PRICING
Tickets are $10 for adults 17-59 and $9 for seniors 60 and up. Kids 16 and under are free. You can save $2 by purchasing tickets online. Wednesday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 12 are also buy one, get one free days.
WRAP UP
The Indy RV Expo is one of the premier RV shows in the midwest, with 60 vendors selling the newest models of trailers and RVs. It's a great place to see the latest in recreational vehicles, and to see the accessories and the destinations you can travel in your RV as well.
