The 21st Annual Vacationland RV & Camping Show is Maine’s largest and most anticipated RV and camping event, bringing together the state’s top recreational vehicle dealers, campgrounds, and outdoor businesses all under one roof. With over 50 campgrounds and local Maine businesses showcasing their offerings, attendees can explore a wide range of RV models, camping gear, and outdoor equipment. From state-of-the-art motorhomes and trailers to the latest in camping accessories, this event offers something for every outdoor enthusiast. Industry professionals will be on hand to answer questions, offer expert advice on RV selection, and discuss camping tips and other outdoor topics. The show, which takes place at the Norway Savings Bank Arena, is produced by the Maine Campground Owners Association (MECOA), an organization committed to promoting the beauty and accessibility of Maine’s camping destinations. Whether you're a seasoned RVer, a first-time camper, or just looking to expand your outdoor gear collection, this is the place to connect with the best in the business.
You can view over 50 recreational vehicles inside and out and talk with dealers to learn about each exciting model. Camping giveaways and a grand prize drawing will also be held. Although this is undoubtedly a kid-friendly event, there are no scheduled children's activities.
The Norway Savings Bank Arena has concessions with food such as burgers, hot dogs, and fries. Several exhibitors also have swag to give away, including bags and other take-home goodies. There will be a free week of camping giveaways as well! This is not a pet-friendly event, though service animals are allowed. The bathroom facilities are clean, and the arena is handicap accessible.

You may consider bringing an RV to camp in Maine during the Vacationland RV & Camping Show. If you rent an RV from RVshare before purchasing one at the show, you can see how it handles, what amenities you want, and how much space you need in an RV, trailer, or camper. It will give you a better idea of what you want when you go to buy one. There are plenty of excellent RV campgrounds in Maine. Here are a few that are near the event. Martin Stream Campground: This site features 55 wooded RV sites, each equipped with water and a 30-amp electric hookup. RVers can enjoy free hot showers, clean restrooms, a swimming pool, a coin-operated laundry, ice, and a fully stocked store. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per site. They must remain leashed, and proof of their rabies vaccinations is required. Range Pond Campground: Range Pond Campground is another excellent spot with full hookup RV sites with water and electricity, two playground areas, and a large swimming pool. Poland Spring Campground: This campground provides full hookup RV sites with 30- and 50-amp options, as well as pet-friendly accommodations, fire rings, picnic tables, a swimming pool, a playground, and a fully stocked store. Each site has specific rules, including quiet hours from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., so be sure to review them carefully before booking.
Although there is no better way to attend the Annual Vacationland RV & Camping Show than by renting an RV from RVshare or bringing your own, there are plenty of hotels near the Norway Savings Bank Arena as well, including a Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hilton Garden Inn. You should book your room as early as possible. Hotels in the area book quickly, especially for special events.
The Augusta State Airport is the closest large airport to the Norway Savings Bank Arena. To get to the arena from the airport, take Airport Rd. and continue onto Winthrop St. Turn right onto Blaine Ave, then right onto Western Ave. Merge onto I-95 S/ Maine Turnpike to Portland. Turn right onto State Route 9 E, then onto Russell St. Continue onto Memorial Bridge, then onto Mt. Auburn Ave. Turn right onto Turner Street. The arena is on Turner Street.
You can park in front of the arena. Parking is free, but there may be limited spaces depending on the daily crowds. Plan on arriving at least one hour before the event start time to avoid parking issues. Please note that the parking lot is not covered. Bring an umbrella in case it rains during the event. You cannot bring outside food or drinks into the arena.
Tickets are $10, and kids 12 and under get in free. Veterans can receive a $2 discount. On Saturday, beginning at 5:00 p.m., a flat fee of $5 will be charged. Tickets cannot be purchased in advance; they are sold only at the arena's doors. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
