RVING AT THE EVENT
The Ultra Music Festival does not have space to accommodate RVing at its venue, and parking is limited next to Bayfront Park. However, you can still find plenty of RV campgrounds to stay at instead. Additionally, despite being just half a mile from the highway, the park is surprisingly quiet.
Miami Everglades RV Resort
The Miami Everglades RV Resort is true to its name. Featuring a huge pool, palm trees, a mini-golf course and plenty more, you'll feel like you're on a vacation from your vacation. Its close proximity to Everglades National Park is also a plus if you intend to stay in Florida for longer than just the Ultra Music Festival. Though it is farther from the venue than other options, all of these benefits more than makeup for the extra transport time.
Kozy Kampers
Kozy Kampers is an intimate RV park with a lot to offer. Laundry and shower services, full hookups and plenty of other nice amenities are available all across the property. It's a location that's welcoming to pets if you intend to bring them along for the ride. The campground's close proximity to various casinos, shopping centers and other fun things as well as downtown Miami make it a great location to stay.
Deerfield RV and Trailer Park
Located along Deerfield Beach, Deerfield RV and Trailer Park is a beautiful place to stay while you're on a trip to the Ultra Music Festival. When you're not jamming at the festival, you can head down to the beach and catch some sun. Public tennis courts, a library and much more are found within walking distance of the park, offering you a great selection of things to do while you stay here. Lots are rented out on a monthly basis, meaning you can stay here for a good amount of time before or after the festival.
WHERE TO STAY
When traveling to the Ultra Music Festival, you'll need somewhere to stay. While the previously mentioned RV campgrounds should take care of anyone in a recreational vehicle, others can still attend the event without an RV.
Hotels
Hotels are the most popular option for attending the Ultra Music Festival. The organizers recommend that guests book hotels along the Metrorail train line given how convenient the spot is. Hotels fill up quickly, especially those in ideal locations like these, so book early to stay ahead of the game. Some hotels include Cambria Hotel Miami Airport - Blue Lagoon, YVE Hotel Miami, and Novotel Miami Brickell.
Hostels
Hostel amenities are used by many attendees at the Ultra Music Festival. Generally cheaper than hotels, they are also more likely to be available given how quickly hotels in Miami can fill up before large events. Posh South Beach and SoBe Hostel & Bar are just two of your choices for hostels in the area.
HOW TO GET THERE
The easiest way to get to the Ultra Music Festival is by using the Miami Metrorail, Metromover or Metrobus public transit systems. These services all have lines that will put you within walking distance of Bayfront Park, eliminating the need to drive there. Additionally, the train lines stay open later on the days of the festival to ensure that attendees have an easier time getting back home once the music stops.
If you choose to navigate to the festival by car, then the easiest way to do this will be to travel along Biscayne Boulevard before turning off onto NE 3rd Street on the right. From there, you'll be right at the gate. You can also travel along MacArthur Causeway until reaching Biscayne if you're traveling from South Beach.
You can also try to make it to the venue by water taxi from South Beach. Do not attempt to sail there on your own boat as you will not be allowed to dock anywhere near the venue.
PARKING
There is no parking at the Ultra Music Festival. While parking in downtown Miami itself is available, it's generally scarce and costs a considerable fee. You may also be able to find a spot near the Metrorail, but the majority of people attending the festival will either arrive by public transit or a taxi service.
