There is no RV camping at the Ultra Music Festival since it has limited parking at Bayfront Park. However, there are still a bunch of nearby Miami campgrounds to choose from.
• Embassy RV Park is a privately owned campground used by both tourists and locals. Mixing serene natural beauty with homey amenities like Wi-Fi, cable TV, showers, laundry, and more, it offers a great experience for anyone who needs to unwind after the intense festivities of the event. Additionally, despite being just half a mile from the highway, the park is surprisingly quiet.
• The Encore Miami Everglades RV Resort is true to its name. Featuring a huge pool, palm trees, a mini-golf course, and plenty more, you'll feel like you're on a vacation from your vacation. Its close proximity to Everglades National Park is also a plus if you intend to stay in Florida for longer than just the Ultra Music Festival.
• Kozy Kampers is an intimate RV park with a lot to offer. Laundry and shower services, full hookups, and plenty of other nice amenities are available all across the property. It's a location that's welcoming to pets if you intend to bring them along for the ride. The campground's close proximity to various casinos, shopping centers, and other fun things as well as downtown Miami make it a great location to stay.
Here are some tips to make your camping trip go as smoothly as possible:
• If you plan to drink at the festival, be sure to have a designated driver or plan to use a rideshare program to get back to your campsite safely. Taking transportation to the venue is also a good idea since parking on-site is quite limited.
• Make sure you check the security policies of the festival to know what you can and can’t bring as you’re packing your RV to head off on vacation. Clear bags are the only bags allowed for the festival, and hydration packs are allowed but must be empty upon entry.
• Meals are served for those who make reservations for VVIP Table Experience. If you cannot reserve a table for your group before the event, consider making a meal or two in your RV instead. Most RVs have fully functional kitchens for meal prep, and you can always stop by a local grocery store while in the Miami area to pick up meal ingredients.
• Be sure to follow the principles of Leave No Trace both at your campground and at the festival. You can help keep areas clean by picking up after yourself, keeping your distance from wildlife, and refraining from etching on or hanging onto trees.
There are a couple of hotels within walking distance of the music festival that you can stay at along with the nearby campgrounds.
• The YVE Hotel Miami is right across the street from Bayfront Park, plus it’s home to Biscayne Tavern. It offers free Wi-Fi, paid breakfast, paid parking, laundry services, an airport shuttle, and some pet-friendly rooms.
• The Leamington Hotel is also across the street from the music festival, and it has free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. It’s nestled right on the Port of Miami, and it has wheelchair-accessible and smoke-free rooms.
• InterContinental Miami is another hotel that sits right on the coastline, and it’s home to multiple restaurants and a day spa. It’s just a short walk from both the Olympia Theater and the FTX Arena. Amenities of the hotel include free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, an outdoor pool, laundry services, room service, and some pet-friendly rooms.
The most convenient way to get to the Ultra Music Festival is by utilizing Miami's public transit systems, including the Metrorail, Metromover, or Metrobus. These services offer routes that bring you within walking distance of Bayfront Park, so you can avoid the hassle of driving. To further accommodate festival-goers, train services extend their hours during the event, making it easier to get home after the music stops.
If you prefer to drive to the festival, the simplest route is to head along Biscayne Boulevard and then turn right onto NE 3rd Street, which will lead you directly to the entrance. If you're coming from South Beach, you can take the MacArthur Causeway to reach Biscayne Boulevard. Rideshare services will also be available to help you get to and from the venue.
For a unique travel experience, you can take a water taxi from South Beach to the festival. However, please note that personal boats are not allowed to dock near the venue, so it’s best to use the water taxi service for access.
Parking is not available directly at Bayfront Park. However, there are some parking spots in garages in downtown Miami. Expect to pay considerable fees to park nearby for the festival.
Tickets are available to purchase online. General admission tickets for the full three days of the festival start at $449.95, and prices will increase closer to the festival dates.
