Listen to your favorite artists under the mountain skies surrounded by evergreens at the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y. Camp on the mountain sides of a ski resort and while enjoying all genres of country music for three days. Two stages host all-star lineups and the hottest country music up-and-coming artists. The resort ski lift takes guests up and down the mountain, shuttles take you back and forth from 24 camping areas to the music venue. It is truly the come- and stay-vibe and the breathtaking views that make this country music festival so unique.
Hospitality with country charm is what you get when you attend Taste of Country. You will have access to First Aid locations, a General Store, Info Booth, Learning Center, Showers, Waste Stations, Food and Beverage Vendors, Alcohol, Fan Shops, Water, Handicap Accessibility, ATMs, Lost and Found, Parking and Transportation.

Once you decide to go to Taste of Country and have the time of your life, there are several options for staying at a ski resort. You can tent camp, car camp or RV it! If you don’t own an RV, you can rent one with RVshare and go in style. You can stock your own fridge, have your own bathroom and fall into a luxurious bed after a full day of rocking out on the mountainside. Have your friends join in the fun and make it a trip you will want to take every year! When you stay at Taste of Country in an RV you have several scenic options to choose from and many features included:
3-night stay (Friday-Monday)
Free roundtrip shuttles between campgrounds and festival.
Free showers and bathrooms.
There is not a water hookup for RVs. Water is available for delivery for an additional charge on Saturday.
Sewage pump is available for an additional charge.
Electric hook ups are available for Mountain Top Campsites only.
Generators are allowed in RV Campgrounds. Quiet hours are enforced starting at 2:00 AM.
Only one steering wheel vehicle and one sleeping unit are permitted per RV site. A driveable RV counts as both.
Campfires are not permitted.
Only propane grilling is allowed. There are no restrictions on the size of the tank or grill.
Some important information to take note of:
Pay attention to the site sizes when purchasing. If your camper or RV exceeds the length listed, you MUST purchase an additional site to accommodate. All sites will be outlined these lengths at the event. Any guest caught exceeding their site length is subject to relocation and purchase of an additional site. Failure to follow these policies can result in towing at owner’s expense or removal from festival grounds.
All campsites are first come, first serve. If you want to camp together, you must arrive together. No vehicle re-entry is allowed.
Accessible Camping: This is for tent and car camping only. It is not an item you can put in your cart. If you need to camp in this area, please purchase one of the tent or Hunter Car and tent campsite (depending on how you want to camp). After your purchase, reach out to the access team at [email protected] to make accommodations to camp in this area.
Only one (1) steering mechanism and one (1) sleeping unit are allowed per campsite. Any additional vehicles, including trailers, must purchase a parking pass for any of our on-site or off-site lots. Drivable RV’s are considered both a steering mechanism and sleeping unit, any vehicles accompanying an RV must purchase a separate parking pass.
No camping gear or RV drop-offs will be permitted in the campgrounds.
No outside technicians or service trucks will be permitted into the campgrounds. For contact with approved on-site technicians please speak with the tollbooth staff members.
Bear Creek RV Campsite
Located in one of our off-site lots, approximately a 6-minute shuttle ride from the festival grounds (see map).
Free roundtrip shuttles between campground and festival.
Free showers and bathrooms.
Site is 20’ x 40’ on grass. If your steering mechanism and sleeping unit combined exceed this size you must purchase an additional site or an on or off-site parking pass, no exceptions.
Hunter North RV Campsite
Located in one of our off-site lots, formerly Demings, approximately a 6-minute shuttle ride from the festival grounds (see map).
Free roundtrip shuttles between campground and festival.
Free showers and bathrooms.
Site is 20’ x 40’ on grass. If your steering mechanism and sleeping unit combined exceed this size you must purchase an additional site or an on or off-site parking pass, no exceptions.
Premium Mountain Top RV
Located in the front row of the Mountain Top campgrounds looking over the festival field (see map).
Electric hook-ups available (extension cord not provided, please bring 100 ft. cord).
Site is 20’ x 40’ on grass. If your steering mechanism and sleeping unit combined exceed this size you must purchase an additional site or Mountain Top Companion Vehicle Pass, no exceptions.
Ability to purchase one (1) additional Mountain Top Companion Vehicle Pass separately.
Mountain Top RV
Located above the festival field on top of Hunter Mountain (see map).
Electric hook-ups available (extension cord not provided, please bring 100 ft. cord).
Site is 20’ x 40’ on grass. If your steering mechanism and sleeping unit combined exceed this size you must purchase an additional site or Mountain Top Companion Vehicle Pass, no exceptions.

Premium RV
Located in front of the festival grounds and within a short walking distance of the Lodge and Main Entrance to the festival (see map).
Site is 20’ x 40’. If your steering mechanism and sleeping unit combined exceed this size you must purchase an additional site or an on or off-site parking pass, no exceptions.
Hunter Mountain is located just over two hours north of New York City in the northern Catskill Mountains. Whether you are coming from the north or the south, Hunter is a convenient half-hour ride from New York State Thruway exits 19, 20 or 21 and just over a two-hour drive from LaGuardia Airport.

There are several parking lots available at Taste of Country. Airport off-site parking and VIP parking are also available. Parking options should be decided upon with ticket purchase and you must have a ticket to camp and park on-site.
Admission to the shows are sold separately from the RV camping and parking features, so be sure to review all of your add-on options!
