Starring some of the top artists in country music, the Stagecoach Festival is the premier event of its kind in the Coachella Valley to feature country, bluegrass, folk, and related musical genres. The 2025 event will take place from April 25-27 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The first Stagecoach Festival took place in 2007 and featured legendary performers such as George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Willie Nelson. The festival has been held each year since, except for when it was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19. Stagecoach offers more than just country music. There's the giant Ferris wheel, the top of which gives you awesome views of the surrounding area. Guy Fieri's Smokehouse is the place to pick up some delectable barbecue. At the indoor Half-Pint Hootenanny, your little ones can have fun playing various games and trying out arts and crafts.
The main reason for Stagecoach is the music. Concerts take place on all three days of the weekend. Set times are yet to be determined, but the venue typically opens around 1:00 p.m. each day, with the last show ending around midnight. The majority of the acts are country music, alternative country, bluegrass, and folk artists, but you can see other non-country performers like the Goo Goo Dolls, Sammy Hagar, and the Backstreet Boys. Diplo's HonkyTonk is where dancers of all levels can master the moves for line dancing, two-step, round dancing, and good ol' fashioned country hoedowns. You can join in or just watch the fun. If you have your kids in tow, take them to Half-Pint Hootenanny and let them blow off steam while bowling, playing air hockey, or trying to carefully take apart the giant Jenga structure.
There will be food concessions where you can pick up a snack or a more substantial bite to eat. Also enjoy tasty beverages like sodas, lemonades, fruit smoothies, tea, and coconut water. Adults can grab a pint or two at the shaded Beer Barn. If you're hankering for some barbecue, stop by Guy Fieri's Stagecoach Smokehouse. You can reserve a locker ahead of time so you don't have to carry around all your stuff while you're exploring the fairgrounds. There are also a number of accessibility services at the event, including parking, camping, and general admission viewing areas. You can bring in small bags and backpacks, blankets, parasols, strollers, and water misters. You cannot bring in outside food and drinks, animals (service animals are the exception), coolers, or flashlights. Learn more about the festival's code of conduct rules and other information on the FAQs page.
The address for the Empire Polo Club is 81800 Avenue 51, Indio, CA 92201.
Artists scheduled to perform at the 2025 Stagecoach Festival include Creed, Crystal Gayle, Jelly Roll, Lana Del Rey, Luke Combs, Nelly, the Bacon Brothers, and Zach Bryan. Check the lineup page for more scheduled performers.
There are various camping options available at the Stagecoach Festival. RV sites are 20 x 50 feet and have 30- or 50-amp power. Camping is not included with your festival admission; you must purchase separately. However, reserving RV spots can be tough to come by. For the reserved-power Lot Yee Haw and the Lots 5, 7, and 10 that have powered sites, you have to join the waitlist. Lake Eldorado, with showers and flushing toilets, cots, sleeping bags and pillows, and charging stations, offers four-person tents and two-person lodges. There's also car camping on-site, with a space for your vehicle. If you're able to grab an RV spot on-site, take note of the following: • A noise curfew begins at 1:30 a.m. • Check-in hours start at 9:00 a.m. each day of the festival. • There are no camping vehicle ins and outs. You will forfeit your spot once you leave. • Bikes and camping chairs are allowed, but drones, fireworks, video cameras, and audio-recording devices aren't. Make sure to rent your RV from RVshare before your trip to Stagecoach. While in the area, escape the heat of the Low Desert by enjoying the cooler climate at Mount San Jacinto State Park.
If you can't find a camping spot at the fairgrounds, you should be able to secure a site at an RV campground in the Coachella Valley. One place in Indio is the Indian Wells RV Resort. Also in Indio is the Shadow Hills RV Park, with full hookups, a pool, and hiking trails. The festival has hotel packages in connection with various properties throughout communities like Palm Desert, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage. Some of the hotels closest to the fairgrounds include Fairfield Inn & Suites Indio-Coachella Valley and the Hampton Inn & Suites Indio.
From Palm Springs: Hop on Interstate 10 and take it east to the ramp on the right for Monroe St. Drive toward Central Indio. Turn right onto Monroe St toward Central Indio / Fairgrounds, and drive for 4 miles. Turn right, and then take the next two lefts to arrive at the Polo Club. There will also be shuttle and ride-share service to and from the fairgrounds.
There's free parking at the event, which is first-come, first-served. Lots are open from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. No RV parking is permitted in the day parking lots, and there's no overnight parking.
A number of ticket admission packages are available for the 2025 festival. However, note that 3-day general admission tickets are already sold out as are 3-day general admission 6-Pack tickets. Another option is the 3-day general admission & shuttle combo package; tickets start at $729.
