Rocklahoma in Pryor, OK, is known as America's biggest Labor Day party. It features high-energy acts, the sound of thrashing guitars, and roaring vocals. Now entering its 18th year, this music festival showcases some of the top names in hard rock music and 1980s-era classic rock and metal bands. Some recent performing acts at Rocklahoma include Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Skillet, and Evanescence.

Rocklahoma takes place just outside of Pryor, which is a small town in the northeastern part of Oklahoma. The weather can be unpredictable, so be sure to bring your wet-weather gear.

RVING AT THE EVENT
Many Rocklahoma veterans enjoy elaborately decorating their campsites and competing against each other to have the best one. Lights, banners, signs, and decorations ranging from the simple to the outrageous are the norm, so feel free to bring some décor to boost the appeal of your campsite. Rocklahoma is well-known for its raucous camping environment, so be prepared to deal with the loud noises of parties, generators, and the like. There is an enforced quiet time from 4 to 8 a.m., but the rest of the day will likely be filled with music and partying. If you want to stay in a quieter environment, then consider camping off-site. You'll have no problem finding a variety of campgrounds and hotels within an hour's drive of Rocklahoma.
WHERE TO STAY
If you would prefer to stay at a hotel close to Rocklahoma, then consider the Lake Hudson Inn, which is just 10 miles away in nearby Adair. This lovely lakefront hotel boasts a variety of rooms, a lakeside restaurant, and RV campsites. Another nearby hotel is the Hampton Inn & Suites Pryor, which is also 10 miles from Rocklahoma. This Pryor hotel features an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a free hot breakfast. Some people prefer to camp in the Tulsa area, less than 45 miles away, which is home to some nice RV campgrounds within easy driving distance of Rocklahoma. One is Rockin K Farms Spring Creek RV in Tahlequah. This riverside campground has full hookups, a dump station, and fire pits. You can also stay at Inspire Communities: Cherry Hill, which is a Tulsa campground that houses RVs and manufactured homes. Underground utility hookups, a pool, and a playground are some of the amenities found here.
HOW TO GET THERE
The event is located 4 miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma or 5 miles south of Adair, Oklahoma on Highway 69. You will enter the venue by turning east onto County Road EW 450 and proceeding to the general admission entrance. To reach Rocklahoma from Tulsa, get on Interstate 44 and drive northeast for about 20 miles. Exit onto State Route 20, and drive for about 15 miles until you reach Pryor. Turn left onto Highway 69 and drive north; turn right onto W 450 and drive to the entrance of Rocklahoma.
PARKING
The Rocklahoma grounds feature four General Admission parking lots that are close to the General Admission and Parking Entrance. If you drive farther down the road, you'll reach the VIP Camping and Parking Entrance, which leads to a single VIP parking lot.
