RVING AT THE EVENT

However, don't let that stop you from bringing your RV or renting one and booking a site in a nearby campground. Some camping options include: • Hunter Lake Campground offers RV sites with electric, water, and sewage connections in wooded lots that have a picnic table and a fire ring. Amenities include showers, restrooms, a game room, and beach access. • Catskill RV Resort offers 30- and 50-amp electrical and water hookups. The resort amenities include a volleyball court, a basketball court, a pickleball court, a swimming pool, an adult lounge, and planned activities. It is also a pet-friendly campground with a dog park. • Jellystone Park at Birchwood Acres features full hookup RV sites with 30/50-amp service, water, and sewer. While visiting, you can enjoy the water park, mini-golf, and fishing at a stocked pond. You can also go paddle boating or hike one of the park's nature trails. Tips for RVers attending the Moonwalk Festival: • Consider the weather in the area during the summer when packing for your trip. Summer temperatures are typically around 74 degrees in the day and about 54 degrees at night. • Fully stock your RV with food, beverages, a first-aid kit, and extra blankets and towels. You should bring extra clothes and shoes just in case it rains and you get muddy at the festival. Follow Route 17 to Exit 100, then take Route 52 into Liberty. The closest major airport is Stewart International Airport (SWF) in New Windsor, NY, about a one-hour drive from Liberty. Take I-84 West to Route 17 West. Follow Route 17 to Exit 100, then take Route 52 into Liberty.
PARKING
To help reduce the festival's environmental impact, all visitors must purchase a car pass for each vehicle they bring to the Moonwalk Festival. You can buy car passes here. The organizers encourage attendees to carpool whenever possible.
