ON-SITE AMENITIES

There are many amenities to make race weekend a lot of fun for guests. Visitors are allowed to bring in one 18x14x14-inch cooler with food and beverages. There is a Lost & Found, ATMs, a First Aid station, concessions, and souvenirs. For more on what you can and can’t bring in to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, check here.

RVING AT THE EVENT

NASCAR races are the perfect time to camp in an RV! Get a cozy, close view of all the action, and still have everything you need just a few steps away. There are seven RV camping options to choose from at the Indianapolis Speedway. You can find out more about RV camping at the Speedway here. 

You can also camp nearby:

• Lake Haven Retreat - has 30 or 50-amp service, full hookups, showers, laundry, a fishing lake, paddle boat rentals and WiFi.

• Raceview Family Campground - just a short drive from the Speedway, and has 30 and 50-amp service, showers, and fresh water fill stations. 

• Indy Lakes - offers 30 or 50-amp service, city water and sewer, and plenty of pond and lake fishing

• Indianapolis KOA Holiday - has up to 50-amp service, WiFi, a dog park, a snack bar, bike rentals, and a pool

WHERE TO STAY

RV Camping

Whether you own a motorhome or use a rental from RVshare, RV camping is a great way to travel for a NASCAR race! You’ll be able to watch the races, then head back to your own quiet retreat, with food and other comforts of home (and your own bathroom!).

Hotels

If you decide not to camp, there are plenty of hotels in the area. Many of them even offer packages for race day weekend. You can often find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity as well.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Chicago: Take I-90 E/I-94 E to I-94 E. Follow signs for Indiana. Take I-65 S toward Indianapolis. Merge onto I-465 S toward Indianapolis International Airport. Take exit 16A-B for US 136 W/Crawfordsville Rd. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto 16th St. 

From St. Louis: Take I-70 E to I-64 E and enter Illinois. Keep left and continue on I-55 N/I-64 E. Take exit 20A for I-70 E toward Indianapolis. Enter Indiana and stay on I-70 E. Merge onto I-465 N/I-74. Take exit 14 for 10th St. Turn right onto 10th St., then left on Polco St. Finally, make a right onto W 16th St. and head to the Speedway.

NASCAR Cup Series Race Day features specific road closures and directions to help with flow of traffic coming to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Visit the Directions page for all official Race Day directions and road closures.

PARKING

Parking permits begin at $(TBA) for a single car on Race Day. You can find more parking info here, with options for single-day or three-day passes.  

TICKETS & PRICING

Tickets can be purchased online. There are a variety of different options, from individual tickets to fan experiences you can purchase for the weekend!
