The Kansas Speedway, one of the premier motorsports facilities in the Midwest, hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year on its 1.5 mile oval track, along with other events. The first NASCAR race weekend at the track is May 6-8, with another weekend in the fall. The big race of the weekend begins at 6:30pm on Saturday, May 6. You can see it up close and watch the thrill of the chase from the stands or from the infield, making it an experience you won’t soon forget!
Fans can make the whole weekend surrounding a NASCAR race a lot of fun! Guests are allowed to bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler or school backpack with food and beverages (alcohol is allowed, but no glass containers). They may also bring stadium cushions, blankets, cameras, binoculars, signs, and strollers. For a complete list of what is and isn’t allowed inside on Race Day, checkhere. There is also a Lost and Found, and the raceway even puts all items in an online catalog you can check later, in case you get home and discover something missing. There is ADA parking if you have a placard, and there are golf carts and trams to help those with mobility issues.
