Found in Litchfield, White Memorial offers two campgrounds for a family camping experience. You can be in Point Folly around Bantam Lake or Windmill Hill where you will be in a pine tree forest. There are various outdoor activities to enjoy as well as hiking trails.
White Memorial is the largest wildlife refuge in Connecticut, providing you with wildlife and bird-watching opportunities. Boating and fishing are available on Bantam Lake and Bantam River. Various trails provide you with biking and hiking. Throughout the conservation area, there is a museum, many outdoor activities, and a calendar of events. There is also a campground store near the entrance to Point Folly in the event that you need anything.
