Four miles west of Sandusky, Ohio, this campground is just 20 minutes from the park entrance to Cedar Point. It’s also minutes away from the Lake Erie Islands and off of State Route 6. The surrounding areas are quiet and the town is very small, but there is the Crystal Rock Mining Company down the street where you can pan for gems.
This simple but well-maintained campground offers very convenient access to both Cedar Point and Lake Erie. Sitting along the Sandusky Bay, you have great views of the water from Crystal Rock Campground in a serene, small town setting. The owners are friendly and helpful, and they’ll go out of your way to make sure you have a fantastic vacation.
