This is a fantastic option for anyone who needs a quiet getaway on the lake. Campsites offer a lot of privacy, and the whole area surrounding Calumet County Park is remote and peaceful. Although there’s not a lot in the immediate vicinity, the campground does provide a camp store and basic amenities. The hiking trails and biking are some of the best in the area, and the sunsets over the lake are unbeatable. The campground itself is very well-landscaped and offers a great, new playground for the kids.
