Pleasant Creek is a great family recreation area and campground. There are 8.5 miles of trails for hiking, bicycling, skiing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. The stocked lake is available for fishing, swimming, and boating or just relaxing on the beach. Within the park there are interpretive programs, sports areas, and wildlife viewing. A very short drive takes you into town where you’ll find shopping for anything you could need.

The birds and wind will wake one up unlike other campsites were it is the screams of the other campers parting and trucks using their engine brakes. Note: use bug spray because there is a big lake and they will attack. The mosquitoes thought I was a buffet tasting different parts of me until I bathed in bug spray.
